Larry has stolen all of our hearts. He’s a little old man of twelve years. He was savagely attacked by an unknown dog and he was found at the back door with a life threatening wound to his chest wall. We had to do emergency surgery to restore the integrity of his intercostal muscles and repair the defect. The wound was deeply infected and needed two stages of debridemebt and reconstruction to repair the damage. He suffered severe trauma and it was painful. He’s almost there!

He never once growled, or complained; but always let us treat his wounds without complaint. He’s the gentlest soul and we’re so delighted to be able to help him. His poor owner has had to deal with disgusting dressings and multiple visits and a horrible wound for weeks. It’s been a gargantuan team effort; but wouldn’t you do anything for him!
